A wonderful achievement

My eldest son loves karate and has recently got back to training after a severe injury to his foot. Prior to that he competed in the NSW State Titles for his style of Karate. For his age division 40+ boys aged 12-14 years took to the mat. They had to get through 5 knockout rounds and a semi-final to reach the final gold medal fight. Daniel made it through and had to fight one of his training partners and good mates in the final for the gold medal. It was an awesome fight, which Daniel narrowly lost, making his runner up in the state and receiver of a silver medal. We were so proud of him.
