Beltane
This past weekend saw us celebrate the Sabbat of Beltane. A time historically when most marriages and handfastings took place. Originally this year we planned on getting married on this date, but quite a few situations conspired so that we had to cancel our plans. So at the spur of the moment we decide we would have our own private handfasting ceremony as part of our Beltane Ritual. While it isn't "legal" in the governments eyes it is perfectly binding to us as we said those vows in Ritual in front of the Goddess. The only down point to the night was that my son Daniel could not attend as he was away at a friends that weekend. Here are a few pages I have made with pictures from the night.
